The Problem with AI Hands
Hands are one of the hardest things for AI to generate correctly. The human hand has a complex structure with five fingers, multiple joints, and intricate details that AI often gets wrong.
Common AI Hand Mistakes
Look for: Extra fingers (6 or more), missing fingers, fingers that bend the wrong way, fingers that seem to merge together, and hands that look distorted or unnatural.
When examining an image, always count the fingers. Real humans have exactly five fingers on each hand. If you see more or fewer, it's likely an AI-generated image.
Quick Check
Zoom in on hands in any suspicious image. AI-generated hands often look fine from a distance but reveal their flaws when examined closely.
