Why AI Struggles with Text
Text in images is one of the most reliable ways to identify AI-generated content. While AI has become good at creating realistic faces and objects, it still struggles significantly with generating readable, coherent text.
Common Text Problems
AI-generated text often contains: Gibberish letters that don't form real words, misspelled common words, letters that morph into each other, and text that fades or becomes unreadable.
This happens because AI treats text as visual patterns rather than language. It doesn't understand what words mean—it only tries to replicate how text looks in training images.
Detection Tip
Always try to read any visible text in suspicious images. If you can't make out the words or if they don't make sense, the image might be AI-generated.
